January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month
Cervical cancer is highly preventable through routine screening and the HPV vaccine, yet too many people still face barriers that put them at risk. During this month, we encourage communities to learn the facts, schedule screenings, support those affected, and help spread awareness that can save lives.
- Cervical Cancer Awareness Toolkit - This toolkit can assist your organization in sharing important information with your networks about cervical cancer.
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Fact sheets, videos, PSAs, and downloadable posters to share with your audience. Great for screening & prevention messaging.
- National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) - Dedicated to cervical health education, free downloadable materials, awareness toolkits, and local chapters that host events during Cervical Health Awareness Month.
- Cancer Support Groups - Weekly/Monthly professional-led support groups to help people affected by cancer. These support groups provide a place for cancer survivors to work through the feelings and challenges they've experience with other people who have gone through similar experiences.

Community-based education workshops to help people manage their ongoing health conditions. These interactive workshops are designed to improve individual’s self-management skills. Workshops aims to help participants stay active and engaged in their lives and builds confidence in managing their health.
