• How to assist a youth, age 12 to 18, who may be experiencing a mental health
or or substance use crisis.
• Common signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance use
• How to connect the youth to appropriate help
• The Mental Health First Aid Action Plan
• Includes a self-paced online course to be completed before the
instructor-led class. The online course will teach the skills that
will be practiced in class.
