Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics
Registration for the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run is now open and can be accessed by clicking here.
Event details are as follows:
Date – Wednesday, June 21, 2023
Location – 14800 Carrs Mill Road, Woodbine, MD 21723 (Western Regional Park, Pavilion 5)
Time – Check-in and t-shirt pickup will run from 8:30am – 9:30am; the opening ceremony will commence at 9:00am; the 5K run will start at 10:00am; and the 1.5-mile fun walk/run will start at 10:15am.
T-shirts and hats cannot be purchased through the registration website; however, you will be asked to indicate if you have already purchased and received your merchandise or will pick them up at check-in.
Purchases and donations can be made in person via credit card during check-in or at one of the scheduled pop-ups. Alternatively, you can utilize the Venmo app and send a screenshot of the receipt as proof of purchase to hcpdtorchrun@howardcountymd.gov.
If using Venmo, please follow these instructions:
- Open the Venmo App
- Go to Pay or Request
- Type in “Special Olympics Maryland”
- Enter the amount: e.g., $15 for hat or shirt or if you purchase two items, it would be $30 and so on
- In the notes section please type in “Howard County Torch Run”
