Responsive feeding addresses head-on the ‘how to feed infants and young children following developmentally appropriate multidirectional interactions between infants and young children and their caregivers. This lecture will conclude with a discussion on how this important public health goal may be attained in the U.S. context following a social-ecological model strongly rooted in implementation science, equity and social justice principles.
