Membership Process

A membership application is required for anyone who is interested in becoming a voting member of the coalition. There is an open enrollment period during which applications are accepted for voting membership. Based on the organizational bylaws, in order to become a voting member one must register during the enrollment period. (Note that “voting” only applies to decisions made by the full LHIC – everyone who participates in a work group has a say in decisions made by that group.)

We encourage anyone interested in participating in the Coalition to submit an application at any time. Once an application is submitted, that organization or individual is considered an active member and is able to participate in all meetings, receive the LHIC Digest, and receive all meetings notifications, agendas, minutes, etc. However, if the application is submitted after the enrollment period, the organization or individual will not be considered a voting member of the full LHIC until the next enrollment period.

The 2016-2017 LHIC enrollment period will take place from September 1, 2016 - October 31, 2016.
